Barn Dance
The barn dance was held in Cawthorne Village Hall on 21/4/2007.

Preparations were started well in advance, including organising the band, the food and the bar, and by the night everything was in place. By 7.30 all was ready for our guests, and the dancing began.

The beer for the evening was Pale Gold from the Ossett Brewery, and was VERY well received!
Everyone enjoyed the evening, and one kind soul even let us know about it (see below), thanks Mike.

Dear Sue
Brenda and I would like to express our appreciation of the event organised by the Central Branch committee held at the village hall in Cawthorne on 21 April 2007. Together with everyone else we enjoyed a good old fashioned "knees up", Mark Sheridan and the rest of the band provided very lively foot tapping music and Sue although hampered by the hall acoustics, encouraged the dancers to interpret the dance in a fun loving way, and was very successful. The food and drink, well what can one say, Margaret and Brian that formidable team in the kitchen and John serving excellent ale albeit in plastic glasses in the bar, first class setup, professional results.
Regards Mike
