Nelson Bicentennial Celebrations

In October 2005 the world celebrated the life of Admiral Nelson. Ringing was performed throughout the country, and the following peals and quarter peals were rung in the central branch.
Rung cartwheel
To mark Nelson's victory at The Battle of Trafalgar.
The treble ringer's great, great, great grandfather, Private Samual Chadwick,
HMS Britania, fought with Nelson at the Battle of Cape St Vincent on 14th February 1797
and received a medal following that action
