Prior to 1887 there was a ring of 3 bells which were recast:
Of these bells, the treble was cast by one of the Mellours family c1500 and the two tenors by William Oldfield of Doncaster.
The present 6 bells were cast in 1887 by Warners & Sons, the wooden frames were made by J. F. Mallaby of Masham, with wooden headstocks, he rang in the first peal on the bells in 1897.
Mr Mallaby taught Ernie Padget to ring in 1934.
The bells were re-hung on ball bearings in 1996 by Ernie Padget, Fred Jackson, and Russ Stephenson.
